I want to create a magazine that is:

·         Incorporating of multiple musical genres mainly grunge, indie, alternative and rock.

·         Minimal - very black and white, few cover lines etc

·         Professional – more expensive perhaps released monthly

 

Name idea – New Age (a new age of music?)

Cover Photo – black and white, outdoors, band, vintage and distressed clothing

Feature Article – grunge band interview possibly

Other articles – new album reviews, interviews and new regarding albums and tours etc from bands and artists relative to aforementioned genres

Make it look a bit artistic in places

 

Location, Props and Models

LOCATION

I will take my photos outside to provide a natural background to help give my magazine a grunge feel, since this is what my target audience wanted according to my research. The fact that the images will be taken outdoors is also rather unconventional compared to other magazines, this will help to make my magazine individual and stand out relating to the individualist nature of my target audience.

PROPS

Props will include the style of clothing which will be a mixture of designer and vintage clothing some of which will be distressed to relate to my target audience since this is the way in which they dress. The rest of my props will be natural and urban backgrounds to give a grunge feel.

Models

Models will be typical members of my target audience both male and female to relate to my target audience as well as possible.
